Changing Student Status, Start and End Dates

Watch this short video to see how to change your students status.

This section will look at how to change your students status or start/end dates within the program. These are the available statuses for each student:

Future Start
- note: starting January 2023, students newly added to a Program will default to Future Start
Canceled
Active
LOA
Graduated
Dropped

Changing Student Program Attributes

Navigate to the program that you are needing to change a students status or start/end dates in. In this example we are updating a student's status in the Cosmetology Program
From the Program Info section click All Students

In this screen you can view a list of students and their status, start & end dates in the Cosmetology program.
If you want to find a particular student, you can enter a name in the Search Students field
You can also filter the student list on status by clicking on All Statuses to find the status you would like to view. Statuses available are Active, Graduated, and Dropped
To change a status or start/end dates, click the three gray dots (kabob menu) corresponding to the student that needs a their program attributes change
Click Edit Info

Use the dropdown box to choose the appropriate status
Click Submit

Changing Student Status to Dropped

You may also need to drop a student from the program. Students may only be enrolled in one program at a time, so if you added the student to the wrong program by mistake, you will need to remove them from the program before you can enroll them into the correct program.
