Note:

  • Every scheduled session opens 10-minutes prior to the actual start of class/clinical and closes 10-minutes after the scheduled ending time.
  • Remember that all students must be checked in upon arrival, checked out for 30-minute lunch breaks, checked in upon return from lunch and then checked out when they leave for the day.

Clinical Evaluation Forms

5. After attendance has been completed in the morning for a scheduled clinical, select the Send Assessment tab along the top of the page (it may be shortened to Send on an iPad.)

6. Choose the Student Evaluation for the course by clicking Start if this is the first time you are entering the Evaluation or Open if you need to return to an open Evaluation.

7. All students enrolled in the course will be listed in the tab labeled ALL. Choose the student assigned to you for the day (never mark on a student assigned to another instructor) by clicking on Start or Resume.

8. Upon selecting the student, it opens the Evaluation Tool for that student.

Note:

  • The first section of the Evaluation Tool for each student will be the clinical grading scale.
  • You will then scroll down to evaluate the student based on the individual objectives.
  • Each scheduled day will be entered into a separate column of the Evaluation Tool with the date entered in the first row.

9. Continue to scroll down for the remaining objectives and enter your response for each objective.

10. To move back to access another student’s evaluation, click on the left arrow and then choose the other student.

11. After the last objective has been evaluated for a student on a given clinical day, you will need to fill in the information fields with Date, Strengths and Continued Development, Clinical Unit and Clinical Facility.

Note:

  • You will then need to have the student review their evaluation and sign the evaluation electronically.
  • You may use a stylus or finger to sign on the iPads. After the student has signed, the instructor must sign as well.
  • This process must be completed for each clinical date.

12. After the last objective has been evaluated for a student on a given clinical day, you will need to fill in the information fields with Date, Strengths and Continued Development, Clinical Unit and Clinical Facility.

13. You are now ready to Complete Assessment for your student!

14.  Once all students are listed in the Completed tab for the scheduled clinical day, Select FINISH ASSESSMENT.
