School Type Policy List
This is a list of policies that may differ based on School Type.
Higher Ed
- Students need to purchase a subscription to use CourseKey. They have a 14 day free trial that starts on the first day of class. (SDSU uses legacy pricing)
- Instructors create their own courses.
- Students create their own accounts.
- Students add a course to their account by entering a join code, or searching for their course.
- Instructors can edit student grades at any time.
- Students should contact CourseKey to update their email address
Enterprise
- Students do not need to purchase a subscription.
- Instructors may have restrictions on when they can edit student grades.
- Some processes may be handled through integration. For some school's students will not add/drop courses or create accounts.
- If a student needs to contact an instructor we do not recommend that they use the Inbox/Ask the Professor feature. We can suggest that they email their instructor directly.
- School administrators should update student email addresses.
